Agent Damon Foreman Transcript: My name is Damon Foreman I'm a Supervisory Border Patrol Agent at the Imperial Beach here in San Diego sector. Primarily what we do is we target the smuggling activity from the foot guides that come into our area of operation. It's like a family. That's the best way for me to describe it. You work so many hours with a group of people; you become really close. Today, in my unit, we rolled in at about three o'clock this morning, and we tried to use the cover of darkness to our advantage the same way that foot guides and smugglers use it to theirs. And we went into the brushed area and laid in for the groups that were coming across. I chose the border patrol for many reasons. I graduated from Olam University undergrad as a pre-law major; I majored in rhetoric, and I though I was gonna get into law, practice law as a lawyer, and decided I didn't want to be in an office, and border patrol is the exact opposite of that so I applied for the Border Patrol and I got in. I'm not a person who likes to be indoors and I guess the feeling of not feeling like I'm working every day is the best thing about it. I never have a problem coming to work. I never feel like I wake up in the morning and I have to go to work. With the Border Patrol it's exciting, it's just another part of my day, it's part of my life.
